What actually happens to your server

What happens if I'm not on my server?

Your server keeps running for a while after the last player leaves, so quick disconnects and reconnects are never a problem. If nobody has joined it for 15 minutes, it automatically shuts down to free up resources for everyone else on the network.

This does not delete anything. Your world, builds, and configuration are saved exactly as you left them.

How do I get back into my server?

Type /ps start to boot it back up, or /ps join to start it and connect in one step. It comes back exactly how you left it.

Can I lose my server?

No. Stopping (from being idle, or manually) is not the same as deleting. Only /ps delete removes a server permanently, and that is always your own choice.
